J2 Haplotype Culture (referenced in Chapter 9)

The J2 diaspora: cultures with a high frequency of J2 haplogroup in their genetics. Descended from the goddess-worshipping Anatolian farmers who played a huge role in the origin of Western civilization. As you can see, they have similar faces and embroidery despite being from such distant regions.

J2 Map (Referenced in Chapter 9)

Map of distribution of people with significant J2 haplotype ancestry. Note the correspondence with areas where Neolithic farmers of Old Europe lived.

Cretan warriors (Referenced in Chapter 9)

The first imagery of warriors in Bronze Age Crete, as the Mycenaean elite became rulers over the Minoans. They were clearly not the same as the proud, upright Minoans – they looked kind of like the Beatles.

Indians (Referenced in Chapter 9)

These are photos representative of the two populations which are now very blended but would have once been very distinct. North Indians are Indo-Europeans (Aryans). South Indians are related to Melanesians and other very ancient populations. They created civilization in India/Pakistan. The Aryan invasion took place around 1500 BCE, about 2000 years later than their invasion of Europe and 1000 years earlier than their invasion of the Americas. The resulting hybrid was the Vedic culture.
